RB Leipzig: March reveals fate

For the first time, Jesse March reported by a heavy private fate before taking office at Football Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.

The coach disclosed in December by the runner-up, said in an interview of The Athletic, that his wife Kim had been diagnosed with breast cancer shortly before the start in Leipzig.

We had a hard time because we did not know if it’s treatable and how much time she would have. Ultimately we were lucky, and it was operable, said the 48-year-old. A chemotherapy was spared his wife. You’re fine now, said March.

In the past few days, March visited his teacher Ralf Rangnick at Manchester United. But the US American wants to leave his own job search. There is no lack of inquiries. There were interest from five, six leagues. Also from the MLS, but I want to stay in Europe, said March. I was surprised about the interest after the failure in Leipzig. I was insecure how people would think about it.

RB Leipzig had separated from March at the beginning of December after the defeat at Union Berlin, when the coach even squatted at home in the corona quarantine. The team did not play as I wanted, that was clear to me, March said. I want to be with a team, instead I sat in the kitchen and looked training sessions, holding videoconferencing. I coach games from the kitchen. That was awful.
